On November 3, 2015, TRU Law hosted its inaugural “Fulton’s Commercial Drafting Praxis Workshop” for 120 upper year TRU Law students. This workshop was designed as part of Professor Shanthi Senthe‘s Business Associations course and Corporate Governance course.
The Workshop was organized by Pamela Johnson, an Associate Lawyer at Fulton & Company LLP, and guest lecturers included Fulton’s Partner Rick Heney, Danielle Leslie (Associate Lawyer) and Michael Blackwell (Associate Lawyer & also an alumni from TRU Law).
The workshop was interactive and created an experiential pedagogical opportunity for TRU law students, as they identified and explored various contractual terms and stylistic nuances used within common commercial non-compete and shareholder agreements.
