Travis Tygart presenting to TRU Sports Law
US Anti-Doping Agency CEO Travis Tygart spoke to Associate Dean Heshka’s sports law class via video conference on October 22nd. Tygart is a world authority about doping in sport and led the investigation which resulted in 7-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong being stripped of those titles and given a lifetime ban. The title of Tygart’s presentation was “Playing Fair and Winning” and looked at the rule of law in sport, the Armstrong case, and drug use in sport.
