Professor Ruby Dhand is very pleased to announce the publication of the second edition of Halsbury’s Laws of Canada: Mental Health Law (authored by Ruby Dhand, Anita Szigeti and D’Arcy Hiltz, Lexis Nexis Canada, 2015). This legal treatise provides a comparative and legal analysis of Canada’s mental health laws in all thirteen jurisdictions for academics and lawyers. The analysis of mental health law, cases, legislation and policies within each Canadian jurisdiction has not otherwise been comprehensively critiqued and compared in academic scholarship in Canada.
